Wearable Art – Eco friendly Fashion work

I love unusual things and their originality.

Ph: Mattia

I’m playing with the recycled and upcycled materials.

Years ago, I started making costumes using only newspapers, and other thrown-out pieces of disposables. Then, after attending a fashion school, I started working with the various fabrics, mostly second-hand clothes, left-overs and scraps of textiles.

Upcycle! No waste! Reuse!

Upcycling is the process of converting waste materials, useless products into new materials or products of better quality or better environmental value.

Creative reuse is the process of taking materials or products that are unwanted for their original function and through creativity, transforming them into pieces of art.

Trashion is a term for art, jewellery, fashion and objects for the home created from used, thrown-out, found and repurposed elements.
